Coleman's wife, Sheri and their 2 young sons, Garret and Gavin, were murdered last week and police have yet to make an arrest.
Police are not calling Coleman a suspect.
"We're not prepared to say anybody is keyed in on as a suspect," said Maj. Connor.
Coleman's appearance seems to indicate a growing interest by detectives concerning his involvement.
Earlier on Monday the Major Case Squad sent several cars to Chester, IL where Coleman was staying with family.
After he submitted his fingerprints to the Columbia Police department we found Coleman at his house where his wife and children were murdered.
While some neighbors have been frustrated no arrest has been made others credit the Major Case Squad for being patient.
"Personally I'm not frustrated because I think they're taking their time and they want to do it right," said one neighbor.
"I mean it looks bad in the neighborhood but I'd rather them take their time and do it right."
