"All I could do was be thankful that nobody got hurt." Gracie Lee - Fire Victim

Grace Lee and her husband drove to Elsberry from Dover, Arkansas. But, what happened Tuesday morning turned a celebration into a catastrophe. "It gives you a little jolt, you know. A little tingly feeling that it controls the pain in your body and it actually helps you to be able to motivate."

Efforts to save it failed.

"Flames were already engulfed and I didn't want anybody to get in there. It started exploding and everything. So, to me it wasn't worth anybody's life to try to save the machine." Gracie Lee - Fire Victim

The van, owned Jeremy High, the birthday boy's dad, was torched -- possibly by a fire bomb. Elsberry police have no suspects. Jeremy High says he's had no threats and, right now, he's more worried that the arsonist might return.

"I hate for something... I've got kids in the house and stuff. So, I don't want nobody to throw something or light that on fire." Jeremy High - Fire Victim

Also lost was Gracie's digital camera so she has no pictures to remember the birthday party Tuesday night.

Gracie and her husband cut short their visit and left Elsberry this afternoon. They are concerned about getting to Dover in time to for Gracie's needed treatment before the pain begins again.
