Homeowner Shoots Suspected Intruder

EAST CARONDELET, IL (KTVI - FOX2now.com)—
Police in East Carondelet, Illinois are investigating a shooting inside a home. It happened just after 7:30 a.m. Tuesday in the 2300 block of State Street. Early reports indicate the homeowner shot an intruder. The alleged intruder was taken away in an ambulance and was conscious and breathing. There is no further information on the intruder's condition. We will bring you more details as they become available.
