ST. CLAIR COUNTY, IL ( KPLR )—
There was a car accident Monday involving an Illinois State Trooper on Interstate 64 near the Mascoutah exit. Police say a driver, believed to be intoxicated, crossed the center median and continued heading east in the westbound lanes. A trooper parked in a construction area pulled his car out to try and stop her and she hit his car. No one was hurt.
