Torrential downpours overnight prompt more evacuation notices. City workers in Ladue were out early Tuesday morning alerting residents who live along these creeks that the waters were rising. Two neighborhoods, Overbrook Estates and Foxboro, are both along these small urban streams that rise rapidly during heavy rains. Firefighters in Ladue were even stationed near Overbrook on Litzsinger Road for a while in case they did have to start evacuations.
So far, no homes have been evacuated.
All of the runoff eventually ends up in the River Des Peres, which could mean troubles downstream throughout the week.
