Pocahantas IL ( KPLR ) -
A Bond County woman has died from the H1N1 virus. The Madison County Coroner says Brooke Williams, 18 of Pocahontas died November 5 after having a heart attack at her home. Family members say she complained about flu-like symptoms that day. An autopsy later confirmed she had H1N1. Williams had other health problems including Cerebal Palsy and a seizure disorder.
Symptoms of H1N1 Influenza include fever, cough, body aches, headaches, chills, fatigue, and runny nose. Individuals experiencing these symptoms should consult with a medical professional.
