Monday night investigators are hoping you can help them identify the suspects and get them off the streets.
"It's very unnerving to us," said Maplewood Police Detective Kerry Daniels reacting to this surveillance video of the frightening robbery.
The two suspects both wore masks when they pulled off the robbery. One of the suspects had a handgun.
"They came in and as far as we know, they just ordered the manager to start giving them the money," Daniels explained. He added, "The suspect did threaten the manager. He stated that he would shoot him if he did not cooperate."
The manager did cooperate giving the suspects money from two registers and a safe. The terror didn't end there.
"After he finished loading all of the money from the safe and the registers, the suspect ordered the manager into the back room of the store. He said you need to go to the back room," said Detective Daniels.
Once the manager was in the back room, the suspect with the gun closed the door and took off with his accomplice who was watching the store's front door.
Game Stop customers we talked with are stunned by the crime.
Brenda Floyd, a concerned customer said, "It's frightening to think somebody that early in the day come in and do that, I mean it's scary."
Investigators hope this distinctive writing on the jacket of one of the suspects will help identify them. It's unclear what it says exactly, but cops think it could be a key to catching the criminals.
Both suspects are described as African American men in their early twenties. The one with the gun is five feet six to five feet eight inches tall with a mustache and hair on his chin. The suspect with the distinctive jacket is about six feet tall and between 175 to 200 pounds. Police say both took off in a white car covered in rust.
