A taxidermist near Highland, Illinois, has gathered his best colleagues from throughout the land. About a dozen of them are working to preserve the likes of Alligators, wildebeests and baby kangaroos.

Tim Thacker put out the call and a dozen of the country's most talented taxidermists responded. They are converging this week at "Thack's Rack Shack" in the tiny village of Millersburg, IL. Since some of the animals are now endangered, Tim believes the work he's producing may be the only way future generations may view them in a life-like manner.
