St. Louis, MO (KPLR) -
A Washington University student who is studying in Chile says there have been about ten aftershocks everyday since Saturday's 8.8 magnitude earthquake.
"It was 3:30 in the morning and we were in our beds and all of a sudden it felt like my bed was like a mechanical bull. It woke me up and it lasted for a very long time and I woke up my friend. I was kind of worried because our house is situated over the ocean and we knew their was the potential that a tsunami could happen but no one else seemed concerned." said Stephanie Dusek - Earthquake Survivor
Stephanie says she and eight other Washington University students plan to continue their studies in Santiago for another six months.
