Argument Allegedly Ends In Arson; Suspect In Custody
An argument in north St. Louis city apparently ended in arson Friday morning. The incident started around 1:00 a.m. Friday when the fire department was called for a house fire in the 5600 block of Thekla. Police say a woman and a male friend were arguing when the man allegedly sprayed lighter fluid around the house and set it on fire. The woman got out of the house and the man got away. He was later picked up by police.
